COVID-19 Information

Empowered Birthwork Services values the health & safety of all individuals. This includes our clients, patients & staff in the hospitals, clinics & birth centers we work in, and the people in our communities we don't directly engage with, but who our actions inevitably impact.

Empowered Birthwork Services is adapting to COVID-19 restrictions & policy in the following ways:​

• Your doula is fully vaccinated and twice boosted against COVID-19, and tests regularly.

  • We are happy to provide proof of negative tests if this is something you would like.​

• Your doula will wear a mask inside your home if you desire.

• Your doula will be available for virtual support if desired or necessary.

COVID-19 restrictions in hospitals & all public spaces have been changing rapidly over the last two years. Your doula will work with you to determine the visitor policy at your place of birth or procedure and help ensure they are by your side when needed. In the event your doula is not permitted into your place of birth or procedure, they will provide virtual support.
